Daydreams come from a memory of an experience - how it felt at the time and how those feelings changed with time. To illustrate the transition from reality to memory, Melissa uses computer controls to accentuate and stylize the remembered details. The final image is an idealized version of the original, an illusion, only seen in retrospect.
